1. Boys like to throw things. Rocks, for example. Often at each other,
but sometimes just into the water.
They will also build dams at any opportunity.
No matter the futility of holding back Lake Superior.
2. Boys (of many ages) like to go wading.
(except for the "at each other" part),
building dams, holding an astounding disregard for futility,
and wading.
It's just that they're hardly ever caught on camera doing so.
3. It's harder to wade to Caribou than it looks.
But not as hard as it should be.
(Roy didn't get beyond mid-shin, and he could have gone another hundred feet out.)
